Jay Groovara is a singer songwriter and improvisationalist from Southern England. He has been writing original material and performing for several years now, gigging across the Uk, Ireland and the United States.
Of particular note is his ability to come up with a song based on audience suggestions. Give him three ideas and they will give you a narrative in song. It might not be the next Justin Bieber hit but it will be something you can call your own. "The song writing process comes very easily to me…" States Jay. "improvisation is really just an extension of that art in its purest form"

So out with the old etc. Brothers Nick and Marty Devaney complete the new Jay Groovara line-up for 2026.
After some scrabbling to find said line-up, Jay found drummer Marty Devaney on the Facebook drummer forums.
'Dude! I got gigs coming up and I need a new drummer!'
'No problemo' Says Marty, sticks at the ready.
'Do you need a bassist too?' Says his brother Nick armed with his formidable bass guitar.
And a new line-up is born. Shweet! Onwards and upwards.
