The Jay Groovara Band yields from Southern England. They have been writing original material and performing for several years , gigging across the Uk, Ireland and the United States. Their songs are a blend of blues and folk rock, sprinkled with a hint of grunge &  punk undertones. Their influences vary but they have been compared to Elvis and  Nirvana, to which they deny. 
"The song writing process comes very easily to me, improvisation is really just an extension of that art in its purest form"
So says Jay Groovara. 
Of particular note is his ability to come up with a song based on audience suggestions. Give him three ideas and he
will give you a song from thin air. A skill he has transposed to the band, enabling them to create compositions on the spot during gigs. It might not be very tuneful, (it might even suck) but it will be something you can call your own.
